南方科技大学核酸药物研究中心（SCORE，SUSTech Center of RNA Medicine）是依托南科大成立的一个新型研究中心，聚焦核酸疗法中的关键科学与工程问题，致力于通过分子生物学、医学和药学的创新来改善人类健康和生活质量。我们将围绕核酸新药研发及应用这一主题，与生物医药产业界密切合作，计划在5-10年内建成一个世界级的RNA治疗研究机构。

Score的首届年会将于2025年1月11日至12日在中国深圳举行。会议主题为“人工智能赋力的RNA医药研发”（AI-Empowered RNA Medince）。

The SUSTech Center of RNA Medicine (SCORE) is a newly established research center supported by Southern University of Science and Technology. Researches of the SCORE focuse on key scientific and technical questions related to the development of novel RNA therapies, with the overarching goal to improve human health and quality of life through innovations in RNA medicine. We will closely collaborate with the biopharmaceutical industry for the RNA drug development and application, and aim to build a world-class research center for the RNA biology and therapeutics within the next five to ten years, translating the cutting-edge science into novel medicine.

The inaugural symposium of SCORE, with the theme of “AI-Empowered RNA Medicine”, will be held on January 11-12, 2025, in Shenzhen.

会议简介 Conference Overview

后新冠时代，核酸药物从新型疫苗拓展到了多种疾病的治疗领域。伴随着小核酸和反义核酸药物的成熟，以及核酸定点编辑等一系列新技术的出现，使核酸新药物模式进入一个高速发展期。同时，人工智能在医学应用中的快速进步，也为核酸药物的靶点发现、序列设计、药物递送和工程优化带来无限可能。本次会议将以人工智能助力下的核酸药物研发为主题，专注于探索前沿人工智能模型在核酸药物研发中的巨大潜力，以期重新定义核酸生物学和治疗学。

会议将邀请在核酸治疗领域的前沿研究者进行专题演讲，涵盖核酸生物学、核酸药物转化研究，及生物信息与人工智能等领域。会议将汇聚来自国内外知名大学与研究机构，以及生物技术公司的相关专家，共同探讨人工智能革命将对核酸治疗学带来的机遇和挑战，以及在大数据和人工智能时代核酸药物研发的新策略。

In the post-COVID era, RNA drugs have expanded from novel vaccines to a variety of therapeutic areas. With the maturation of RNAi, antisense RNA and mRNA therapies, along with the emergence of new technologies, RNA drugs are entering into a new phase of rapid expansion. Meanwhile, the advancement of artificial intelligence in medical applications offers endless possibilities for RNA drug development, including target discovery, sequence design, drug delivery, and engineering optimization. This conference will focus on how AI may empower RNA drug development, exploring the potential of cutting-edge RNA and AI technology in this field, with the aim of redefining RNA biology and therapeutics.

We will invite leading researchers from top universities, renowned research institutes, and biotechnology companies. Together, we will discuss the opportunities and challenges that the AI revolution presents for RNA therapeutics, as well as new strategies for RNA drug development in the era of big data and AI.
